PRODML Data Version 1.2 Release Candidate

 

The PRODML™ Data Version 1.2 Release Candidate is available for membership and public review.  This is an incremental update over PRODML Data Version 1.1.

All comments and feedback received will be considered in a final specifications update cycle. If no major deficiencies are identified, public release will follow soon after the end of the review period.

 

PRODML™ is a family of Energistics™ industry standards that define open, non-proprietary, standardized interfaces between software tools used to monitor, manage and optimize hydrocarbon production. The PRODML Standards consist of WSDL Web Services descriptions and XML Data Object Schema specifications.

 

PRODML Data Version 1.2 contains the following additions and changes to the PRODML Data Object Schema specifications:

 

  1. New Data Object Schemas for fluid analysis and time-series measurement data.
  2. Updated schema design criteria and low level data types consistent with WITSML Version 1.4, including a new extension capability.
  3. Updates to the wellTest Data Object Schema to add support for validation status and for ESP wells.
  4. Updates to the productVolume Data Object Schema for better support for monthly production reporting, including accounting and ownership data, and for improved consistency of standard conditions and fluid characteristics.
  5. Updates to the productionOperation Data Object Schema for better support for monthly production reporting.
  6. New Energistics-wide “Aggregate” Specification, including a special ‘report’ pseudo-object.

 

This is an interim data-oriented release. The most recent services-oriented release was published in Q2. The next planned cycle of data and services releases is planned for completion around year-end. Requests for changes or new capabilities may be submitted by writing to help@energistics.org.
