Step 1: Adopt

Adopting our data standards will streamline your organization and the workflows that support data analysis, decision-making and modeling activities. The Energistics Data Transfer Standards and the Energistics Transfer Protocol are available at no cost on our Download page.  We offer public training classes to bring your staff up to speed, or bespoke training for groups if needed.

Step 2: Develop

If you are a service company, a software provider or a data management team within an operator company, you can readily use our standards to develop links that connect your software and data management tools to each other as well as to third-party partners or vendors.

Step 3: Participate

Whether you develop software using our standards or are an adopter of standards, you are welcome to join one or more of our Work Groups to take part in shaping the future development of standards that have become part of your mission-critical data operations.

Step 4: Support

Energistics is a consortium that is funded by its members.  The standards we help develop and make available to the industry benefit all parties, by reducing software development costs and streamlining data flows.  The consortium’s activity needs to be sustained to keep the organization working towards the mission and relevant to all players; our board of industry professionals also provides strategic guidance to the consortium.
