Meet the speaker
Eric Griffith is COO of the Petrotechnical Data System (PDS) office in Houston (PDS Americas). Eric has been with PDS since 2008, first in the Netherlands and, since 2013, in its Houston office. At PDS, he has worked on petrotechnical software solutions for major oil companies and service companies spanning the subsurface and drilling domains. Since 2013, Eric has focused extensively on real-time drilling applications, and he is currently responsible for PDS’s WITSMLstudio technology.
Eric has a PhD in computer science from Delft University of Technology with a specialty in scientific data visualization, and he has a B.S. and M.S. in computer science and a B.S. in mathematics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
